About the Evening of Wishes

At Make-A-Wish, we know that a wish can be transformational for a child fighting a critical illness. Wishes are powerful and provide a sense of strength for the child and their family. Wishes help the child believe that the impossible is possible and create hope.

We invite you to join us in celebrating the power of a wish at the inaugural Evening of Wishes on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at The Willows at Ashcombe Mansion from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

During the Evening of Wishes, you will enjoy a delightful selection of hors d'oeuvres and fine wines in the newly opened historic Victorian mansion while hearing inspiring stories from local wish kids and their families and partake in the silent auction. Throughout the evening we invite you to connect with like-minded philanthropists and community-focused executives to celebrate the mission of Make-A-Wish and its impact on critically ill children in the Harrisburg region.
